Project badges

Project badges

Choose from a variety of badges that display the count of pending tasks. This gives you a quick overview of outstanding tasks for today, tasks that are due or tasks from a specific quadrant.

Quadrant view

The quadrant view is a quick summary of a project.

It lets you rename each of the categories and shows the count of your pending tasks. Swipe to show different counters.

  • Reminders

Quadranto uses Apple's native reminders system. Therefore all your reminders are pushed to all your iCloud-enabled devices and they show up in Notification Center's today screen.

Right swipe

There are different actions depending
on how far you swipe on a task.

Short swipe right to mark a task as finished.
Long swipe to move it to a different quadrant.

A left swipe on a project or task reveals its options.

From there you can delete or clean-up projects or
create reminders for tasks or share them with others.

“The app itself is quite versatile and it’ll work for more
than just the one [productivity] method.”

- Jorge Rodriguez, Mac AppStorm

Quadranto for Mac comes with these features

Uncluttered UI

The user interface is kept clean and simple and yet gives you quick access to the tools you need for getting something done.

Projects & Quadrants

By dividing your tasks into projects and quadrants you can easily prioritize and therefore always stay on top.

Schedule tasks and get notified when they come due. And with iCloud enabled reminders even get pushed to your iPhone or iPad.

iCloud keeps all your projects, tasks and reminders across all your iCloud-enabled Macs in sync.

Auto Import

Create tasks on the go by using the Reminders app on iOS. With iCloud enabled Quadranto can import new tasks and place them into predefined quadrants.

The app automatically creates backups of your projects and tasks every 24 hours.

The Eisenhower Principle

“What is important is seldom urgent and
what is urgent is seldom important.”

- Dwight D. Eisenhower

4-quadrants task management

Getting something done - that's what Quadranto is all about. The app is based on a quite popular productivity method known as The Eisenhower Principle.

Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States, came up with the idea that every single task can be qualified by the criteria important/ not important and urgent/ not urgent. That leads to a 4-quadrant structure that is called Eisenhower matrix.

Quadranto reflects that structure and provides a canvas for prioritizing your to-dos by importance and urgency.

Do first

Important & urgent

First of all there is a quadrant labeled "Do first". That section is for important as well as urgent tasks which should be done immediately and best by yourself.

Important & not urgent

Then we've got the "Schedule" category. This is for tasks that are indeed important but not that urgent so that you can easily schedule them for later handling.

Not important but urgent

Next there is a "Delegate" section for urgent but not that important things. Those type of tasks can or better should be delegated to others.

Not important, not urgent

Finally there are tasks that are neither important nor urgent. That's why the fourth section is labeled "Really?!". Those things actually shouldn't be done at all...

It's not always that we need to do more
but rather that we need to focus on less.
